[SOLVED] gnome break

After much trouble with the system update, and finally getting it updated AND /lib as a symlink, I try to startx and I get the errors below.
I had to enable multilib in pacman.conf in order to system update. Should I revert this or leave it?
My xf86 intel driver was updated/replaced with something, would this be myproblem?

The errros come right after my wallpaper is displayed, the top bar w/ the clock is displayed, and the boom, it crashes with gnome error

It could be your video driver. I recently experienced strange problems using the xf86-video-intel-sna driver--which is newer and maybe buggier--and had to go with the xf86-video-intel-uxa driver.

That is what got installed - 'xf86-video-intel-uxa 2.19.0-6'

Well maybe you'd have better luck with the intel-sna driver? Or it probably has nothing to do with your video driver. You've got alot of warnings in your log, and without more info on why you had to suddenly enable multilib repo, it may be difficult to help.

Even worse, I don't fully understand. I was getting help in #archlinux...

I was unable to get past '/lib exists in filesystem' on an -Syu and enabling multilib and doing an -Syyu --ignore glibc + -Su seemed to get the system up to date with a symlink for /lib

Now no gnome

I'm having the same problem, but was able to fire up gnome by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F1 and then sudo rc.d stop gdm and then sudo rc.d start gdm.

That's a temp workaround still trying to find the real problem. How did you fix it in the end?
