Garbled installation screen

I'm installing using the netinstall image on a bootable USB key. Everything looks fine at the boot screen, but once it gets to the point where I would normally enter "/arch/setup" command everything gets garbled on the screen so I can no longer read it (see picture of my monitor while this is happening).

I don't even know what to call this so I am at a loss at what terms to google for.

I'm using integrated Nvidia graphics and the latest netinstall iso.

It's probably a KMS issue. Are you sure it's integrated Nvidia or is it integrated Intel + dedicated Nvidia? Which model?

Press the Tab key when the menu shows up and add "nomodeset" at the end.
