Hi,
I happen to be using 2 step verification on my gmail account. While this improves security, it also makes you depend on your cellphone to generate the tokens. I was looking for a desktop version of google authenticator and did not find one. So I searched around, and found a cool snippet that I could easily adapt to my needs.

Most of the code is not even from me, but I've been looking for this for a long time, so I am posting this, hoping that it can help.
