fresh install: grub's menu.lst not found

Hi.  I'm trying to do a fresh install.  When I get to the bootloader installation it gives an error along the lines of
"menu.lst not found. Is grub installed?"

I'm assuming that this is caused by the recent change from grub to grub2 and it is not reflected in the arch netinstall.  What's the easiest way around this?  Is a new net install image being released soon (i.e. few days) and will this fix the problem?

New netinstall images don't have AIF.I recommend switching to Syslinux.
