(ask) shutdown but reboot

before I use a DE, I could turn off my laptop well in
the console. but after I installed KDE as a DE in archlinux, I can not turn off my laptop.

I've tried turning off my laptop by clicking shutdown on start menu, but, it only made my laptop rebooted.

Then I tried turning off my laptop from the console by typing 'shutdown -h now', and it makes it reboot again.

Please, help me .

For starters, don't cross post.

Does this issue always occcur (both when working on AC and on battery)? You don't have wake-on-lan or anything similar enabled in your bios by any chance?

Re: (ask) shutdown but reboot

i installed Arch triple boot with Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7. On ubuntu, no problem like this, and windows 7 too.

This problem only happen in archlinux.

Sorry, if my English is bad
