OK, this one's driving me mad, because I know there's a really simple, really *stupidly* simple answer to my problem, but I just can't find it or work it out.
Installing Arch on a fresh machine, the first command I run is "loadkeys uk" to set my keyboard. That's fine.
But how do I set my stupid machine (and even more stupid user) to use the uk keymap *after* the install?
Many thanks,
David Shaw

I think you want to edit /etc/vconsole.conf or /etc/rc.conf.

Edit: It's part of configuring the system, so you must have missed it somehow: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … the_system

Told you it would be stupidly simple! Many thanks for helping one who is severely hard of thinking today! :-0
