Could you expand on that a little pls ie for what reason / for whose benefit ?

From the posters side they could always use a wordproc package to construct a post prior to posting.

From the Forums side,  if you mean like an Auto spellchecker, its a worldwide community, which dictionary would the Forum moderators set to be Default ?

and fwiw what would u do about abbvs ?
