Unable to handle kernel paging request

I have arch installed on an AMD based machine that I'm using as a file server at home.  I have 4 IDE hard drives for data.

The last couple of days I've been copying large (avi)filed from my desktop to the server for redundancy.  This works fine for awhile, then the server crashes with the error "Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address XYZ"

What can be causing this?
