Gnome Shell - Arch linux RSS extension.

Ive been thinking about a Gnome Shell Arch Linux extension what would show the rss feeds/news in a simple way. (A icon in the upper right)

Anyone up to write one? i personally have not tried this gs-extension writeing, but anytips or links and i maybe able to start one

Why not try tickr?
I've not tried hiding the window, but maybe it's possible..

That's nice, But I'm finding about notification only.. no want ticker :\
Maybe you know how I can get this works in gnome-shell?

I only found rss-notify in the AUR, it looks outdated but it may still work?
