Unresolved Symbols!

Hello everyone!

I got a binary driver of a MPG24 card of ADLINK for Linux, and have problems getting this card to work now.

Anyway, i've installed a clean arch, and "downgraded" it to kernel 2.4.28 (basically set it up with 2.4.29), since that's needed by the binary driver (was compiled for 2.4.28 of kernel.org). So far, everything worked (works) fine, the kernel works fine (same config as the arch kernel 2.4.29).

Now, when i try to insmod the driver, i get errors like the code block in the end shows up.

This means i seem to have at least the right kernel driver version, but what could cause those errors? 3 Modules of the Driver do load properly, the others dont.

I tried deactivating the kernel module versioning, but actually it hasnt had any effect on loading the drivers.

Also, i'm getting an error starting hotplug

which: no pcimodules in (/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin)
** can't synthesize pci hotplug events

I'm not sure if hotplug has to do something with this problem though(?). I think the motherboard does support hotplug (not sure about this though).

I'd be thankful for suggestions what could cause this Problems.

Apparently there was something wrong with my kernel configuration. I dont know what else than modversions could have caused this big mess, but trying with a kernel configuration of RedHats 2.4.20-8 kernel worked fine.

Didn't take a closer look what else they have enabled what i didn't in my configuration.
