Hello.
I have aserius problem and can't boot into Arch.
My partitions
hda1 -> /boot ext2
hda5 -> /
hda6 -> /home
hda7 -> swap
I boot with grub.
After an unclean hard-reset grub loaded but when continues it shows filesystem check failure for hda1.
I booted to KANOTIX livecd and in terminal
e2fsck -p /dev/hda1
/dev/hda1 contains a file system with errors, check forced.
/dev/hda1: i_file_acl for inode 4130 (...) is 1386748942, should be zero.
/dev/hda1: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
(i.e., without -a or -p options)
I tried without the -p options and it gives me very many errors.
Is there a way to save the system using the Arch Base 0.7 CD I have or by some other way?
Thank you in advance.

Don't know, but maybe you could use a Knoppix CD ( or Kanotix ) and use it to boot into your /home directory to save your configurations and other important files, then reinstall Arch from scratch since it is a very quick install, then restore your configs and other stuff.
Just an idea for you to ponder...
