I'm experimenting with localmodconfig and localyesconfig on linux-ck in combination with config_efi_stub. First i built the localmodconfig version, which booted okay, then the localyesconfig version by changing the appropriate line in the pkgbuild to "make localyesconfig".
This results in a kernel panic on boot, not syncing hd(0,0). What could be wrong here? Should the modules found by modprobed_db be listed as "y" in the kernel config? For instance, here is my modprobed_db:
ac
acpi_cpufreq
aes_generic
aes_x86_64
aesni_intel
ahci

But the kernel config for instance only lists "ahci=m", so i'm not sure if that means it wasn't built in.
Any other pointers?

I'm not totally conveinced that localyesconfig works as advertised. I actually removed this option from the PKGBUILD a while ago. You might try contacting its author.
Your modprobed_db looks fine to me, btw.
