Seems that a recent update with pacman shot my radeon HD 6400 to hell. Firmware doesn't seem to load and X doesn't start with a "no screens found" error. Only thing that comes to mind is that I held back glibc seeing as how it still says that /lib exists in the filesystem. No idea if that is the cause or just something else. Fixed my own problems by nuking xf86-video-ati and ati-dri and throwing in the catalyst package from the AUR.
The issue itself still stands though.
When I win the lottery, the first thing I will do, before I buy a new car or a house, would be to buy a goddamn Cisco XR 12000 router and enough T3 lines to wire a country.
