On GNOME (with the hotkeys or Settings panel) and with xbacklight, I can't change the brightness of my Vostro 3500 backlight.
I have nvidia_backlight (from AUR package nvidia-bl) and acpi_video0 on /sys/class/backlight. It works fine if I use the hotkeys on a tty or if I set the value directly to the brightness file, on both nvidia_backlight and acpi_video0. Both have the brightness file writtable for all users.
Does anyone have idea what's my problem?
