Power off problem

Any help on the following would be appreciated.
When I power off my motherboard in UEFI mode I've got no error messages but the power supply doesn't power off, only the hard disk (latest linux kernel x86_64, no difference whether init or systemd boots the system).
And everything is all right when the motherboard powers off  having been booted in BIOS mode.
In both cases I use "systemctl poweroff" or "shutdown -hP now" commands. Kernel options acpi=off or acpi=force don't solve the problem.
