Pocket PC

Does anyone have recommendations for a Pocket PC that works well with Linux?

I already have a scanner that isn't SANE, so I'm trying to avoid that type of problem.

Re: Pocket PC

It all depends on what you are looking for, but i would rather buy a PDA with Linux pre-installed. smile

The Nokia 770 is "planned in the third quarter of 2005" and already has a web page on the Nokia site:

Re: Pocket PC

Heya,

I have a pda with pocketpc 2003 on it. Windows has software that takes care of synchronisation, ... called Active Sync. If you have one that uses that (I suppose all pocketpc 2003), there is software for linux that takes care of the synchronisation: http://synce.sourceforge.net/synce/

It didn't compile for me with gcc 4.0.0(?) a time ago, but the developper was helpful and maybe it is fixed now.

When I put the pda in the usb-cradle the modules usbserial and ipaq are loaded.

Although from 2003, maybe the following article can help:

greetings,

Michel
