[SOLVED] the laptop hangs after disconnect the ac adapter.

hi all
my laptop has a really big problem and here it's:
when I am using my laptop on the battery and when plug in the ac adapter the laptop hangs up and becomes too slow.
when I am using my laptop with the ac adapter and suddenly disconnect the ac adapter , the system becomes slow again.
not only in Linux , I have this problem in windows too.
I think this is a hardware problem not a software one.

what do you think??

I have solved the problem by changing the battery. and the laptop is OK now.
thanks for help.

Re: [SOLVED] the laptop hangs after disconnect the ac adapter.

Hi!

What happens when you start your machine with cable plugged in? If you have no speed issues then (aka you still can use it properly), I suggest observing this behaviour.
Maybe it is related to the AC adapter? Do other people report similar issues using that laptop?

Oh, one thing i forgot: you can also see what the output of dmesg is right after plugging in or out the cable. Anything suspicious there?

Bye

Might be BIOS? Have you checked to see if there's an update for your model?
