[SOLVED] Archboot 2012.06 MacBook Pro 8 3 No Keyboard

Once the system is booted up I see:

Hit ENTER to enter bash shell....

but I have no keyboard so I can not do anything. I have tried attaching a usb keyboard but it did not work. Also just to note the only USB keyboard I have is an apple USB keyboard if that matter.

Figured this one out. I was using acpi=off radeon.modeset=0 but I need this:

radeon.modeset=0 i915.modeset=0

Problem solved
