Setting up snort on Arch

Hi Guys, I am wondering if any of you have come across on some good recent tutorial on setting up snort on Arch. The one over here:

is kind of out dated and there isn't a set up guide for Arch on snort's website. I've tried to set it up by using different bits and pieces of information from everywhere but it didn't work out. So any help is appreciated.
