PulseAudio can only use 1 device at a time.

I have enabled "simultaneous output" in PulseAudio Preferences, I run pasystray(pavucontrol for volume), and want to use both HDMI-output as well as internal output in different application at the same time, but sound configuration (both pavucontrol and phonon) only lets me activate 1 device at a time (by selecting card profiles).

If I select "Builtin Audio Analog Stereo" I only get sound from my internal speakers or headphone jack, if I select "Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output" I only get sound from my HDMI-output. Also I only get the selected device as options when selecting output device in the application(stream) list.

I am using KDE4.

Can someone please help me?

I have no idea how to do what you're doing using those GUI tools (nor, likely, will anyone else here). When I used to need this I just loaded module-combine and set it as the default sink (did it in /etc/pulse/default.pa though you should be able to do it for only your user in ~/.pulse or something).
