[SOLVED] Can't find my language fonts

Hello!

I am a total beginner and i would like to know in which directory i can find
a font file for my language, which i have to pass to the command

setfont foo

during the instalation process. I am asking this as Arch Wiki "Beginners guide"
ch: "Change the language" doesn't tell in which directory fonts are stored. Could
anyone write it down (here and allso in Wiki)?

Re: [SOLVED] Can't find my language fonts

It is a locale setting not a font file.
See here Archwiki: locale

Also you may need "gucharmap" to see which font supports you language. (While in X)
You can see your installed fonts with "xlsfonts" or by going to

/usr/share/fonts/

If that is what you are looking for...

Re: [SOLVED] Can't find my language fonts

Which language?

Load the keymap, load the font, hit LCtrl+LShift and type the extra characters to see if they show up.

I think the "Change the language" section is pretty clear on instructions. What, exactly, don't you understand?

Later in the guide you'll find:

It's recommended that you change it to Lat2-Terminus16, because according to /usr/share/kbd/consolefonts/README.Lat2-Terminus16, it claims to support "about 110 language sets".

I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

Re: [SOLVED] Can't find my language fonts

Follow the Beginners' Guide and you should be fine. I'm sure that the "Lat2-Terminus16" font includes those glyphs just fine.

Don't forget to mark the topic as solved (by editing the fist post).
