Asus G74SX cpupower with to ROG media key

Hi guys
I would like to know how to grant users privileges to set cuppower governers on the fly with out being root.
I going to set up a small script so when I press the ROG media key it will switch between ondemand and performance.

Any help would be great

You can use acpid.
Run acpi_listen, press desired button and use that value in /etc/acpi/handler.sh.

I had something similar setup on my G73, but I couldn't get script to display notify-send notification,
so I ditched it because it was hard for me to keep track of current governor.
