cups print test page completed, no error, but no print out either

I installed the driver using these instruction:

When printing a test page, cupsd's job page show it completed.

DCP7065DN-13 	Unknown 	Withheld 	1k 	Unknown 	 completed at Tue 18 Sep 2012 08:56:02 PM PDT 	  

Nothing comes out. There is also no new entry in /var/log/cupsd/error.log either:

The time stamps tell me that these are from restarting cupsd service.

Any idea?

Error reports the use of ColorManager. Have you try to adjust the colors?.
What happens if you remove it?

Sorry, remove what? And I have not try to adjust anything about printing.

I see you have a Canon printer.  Look at the following 2 links for some tips.

EDIT:  Looking again, it looks like you are trying to set up a Brother printer. See if the following is any help.  Note that the URI has changed for me with the latest version of CUPS (1.6.1).  See post #21 in the same thread below.

The Canon printer is for work, at a different location, in a different network. And it just worked(tm).

I am having trouble with the Brother printer.

I've read several posts, locals and international. The most case is related to the permission on /dev/bus/usb/00x/00x. That should be 0666. ( the x should find it out by lsusb)
The other cases, the reports showing failures to comunicate via DBus. Try to increase cupsd verbosity.

I'm having similar effects with a Canon iP100, on Ubuntu 12.10, over Bluetooth.
This printer was working well on another computer on Ubuntu 12.04.

The Printer Manger sees the printer, and I can set it up, but all attempts to print result in the printer making some noise, printing a partial border
line, then spitting the paper out.

In printer logs,
        AddProfile failed: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod:No such interface `org.freedesktop.ColorManager' on object at path /org/freedesktop/ColorManager/devices/cups_iP100

There is no path resembling
        org/freedesktop/ColorManager/devices/
on this system but there is
        /usr/share/dbus-1/interfaces/org.freedesktop.ColorManager.xml

Is this a ColorManager bug, a CUPS bug, or a bug with the printer drivers?

It isn't completely clear to me that the error messages are related to the printing failure--Ubuntu has other Bluetooth-related issues, and maybe they have gotten worse in 12.10.
