Re: PKGBUILD Request For Maratis3d

I might look a little closer at this later, but to get you started I'd recommend looking at other SVN PKGBUILDs already in the aur.  Model one for maratis3d after them using this line for svn

svn checkout http://maratis.googlecode.com/svn/ maratis-read-only

edit: I just did the svn checkout and glanced quickly at the directory tree.  This will take more investigation as there are only a couple Makefiles burried under the 3rd party extension folder and one CMake list burried deep in some other directory and no configure script.  There are no obvious build tools or instructions apparent.

The download link you had in your initial post is just the binaries.  Those would be pretty easy to just download extract and install (aka copy) via a PKGBUILD.  It would be preferrable however to have the PKGBUILD make Maratis3d from source.

Re: PKGBUILD Request For Maratis3d

Thanks for the reply Trilby. I am a total noob when it comes to all this, i'm supprised I even maganged to install Arch wink
OK I think I understand some what, but I think I will leave the PKGBUILDs to the pros for now! When I try to run with ./MaratisEditor I get this error:

error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I guess this is due to me using the NVIDIA drivers, if this is the case how would I link to the NVIDIA libGL. Do I need to to create a symbolic link to it?
