Hi,
since the latest kernel-update my system doesn't recognize my built-in-webcamera either in terminal nor in Skype:
[burkon64@arch ~]$ lsusb

Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
In Skype I have got a message "No devices found."...
With LiveCD (for example SuSE 12.2, Manjaro 0.8.1) the same result, too...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

well i guess you do not have some sort of hardware switch off ? Maybe the best practice will be if you boot some older kernel ( or live distro ) and see at least what module you need for it.
O' rly ? Ya rly Oo

because with same kernel you have different behaviour, imho it's not a strictly kernel related problem

Very interesting...
After update 'qt' before about 10 minutes my camera works...
