I have added the planet icon and replaced all the old new images with the latest ones - just too see how they look

I have a further request: can we have buttons for "mark all topics read" and "mark all forums read", please?

How are these? I made them a few pixels wider than the other ones, since the text took up too much space, and making it smaller was too unreadable. I figured they could have the same icon, as they would never been seen at the same time together:

Excellent - we all thank you very much

Looks like we are going to need a link button for art.archlinux.org too - sorry, mate!

maybe you should make him official forum graphics dude. Give him a little prestige for the awesome work he's been doing, you know? At least change his title to "Graphics Guru" or something.

... I guess I could do that... I do have the power... done - that'll do until I get a better suggestion

Err...the graphics should probably be GPL'ed and copyrighted - I can put it in the forum footer....

I thought GPL included a copyright clause?

Let's not debate that here

Forum Graphics Dog, sweet! Ask and ye shall receive...
Tried to do a version with using a paint pallet as the icon, but it didn't look quite right with the whole set. This fits in much better, but I'm not sure I like it 100%. Could just be me though...

Looks, pretty awesome to be, Dog!
(People will think we are down with the ghetto speak before long...)

looks good to me too, fits in nicely with the rest.

The new buttons when using MS Internet Explorer, don't apper as round corned but square when the buttons' background appers in gray color. Is it possible to change to white merging into the Forum's white background.

It's probably the known problem of IE. It can't display the transparent part of png file. It just replaces transparent fragments with some random color or a background color (I don't remember exactly).
Offline
I can go back and change that...I knew that alpha transparency was an issue, but thought the index transparency I used on these would be fine, but forgot to check the end result in IE. Now that I updated the design, I should be able to easily force the background color to be white and re-package all of the buttons up for Dibble...
P.S. What happened to the New Topic / Post Reply buttons?

They're there - there is a wierd refresh issue with them it seems hard to get your browser to show them initially

just checking into the forum after a while, and noticing the new buttons. is it just me, or do they all seem about twice as big as they need to be? while i like the design, their size makes them look a little out of place, imho.
p.s. maybe the text of the big square buttons should be more of that light blueish color to match the forum better, and all the other buttons? :?:

It's you. They are approx the same size as the old ones.

Erm...no. I think that would badly affect the readability on the white background.
On another note, while we welcome criticism, more accurately we welcome timely criticism, you are a little behind

Dog - apparently Binary Transperency should work in all browsers....

What about the quote, edit and X (delete post) buttons? Are there plans to change them? The current ones don't bother me at all but since we have changed all the other ones (thanks to elasticdog), I wonder if perhaps we should change them as well. :?

Not really - if we change those we'd need to change the contact icons along the bottom of peoples posts, all the topic icons, all the pm icons... etc.
I'm not opposed to more changes of these but i think the new icons fit in ok with the old icons...altough maybe some of the more orangey ones could go...

I haven't thought of these icons... It would involve more work than I originally thought.

Yes, they fit nicely with the new icons. Let's keep them.
