[SOLVED] Doubt: After Udev load, screen goes black

Hello,

I was wondering (after the installation of my Arch) why my Inspiron 1525 with an Intel Chipset behave this way.
Just right after udev loads the screen blinks (like turning off and on) and then a black screen and no prompt is shown...

I know the system works, because I typed what was necessary to restart arch but just that, then, after several restarts suddenly the prompt showed...

I read at another forum that I should add to the file /etc/mkinitcpio.conf "i915" at MODULES and use "mkinitcpio -p linux", after that the problem was solved and fortunately I'm here writing you about this doubt.

Why this happened?
What I did was the best solution?

Long ago (about 6 or more months) when I updated my system this was a common issue on every start of my arch system.

Thank you very much in advance.

Oh, thank you very much guys.

Now I understand what was going on.

*I used DOUBT because I had that problem no more and I was looking for the reason and wondering if I did the best choice while proceeding.
