I am running Arch on my Asus Zenbook UX31A and am having issues getting acpi to report battery information. There are a few errors which seems like some sort of conflict I don't fully understand which I assume are related. Has anyone had similar issues or can point me in a direction to solving this issue?

Notice it says "ACPI: If an ACPI driver is available for this device, you should use it instead of the native driver" so maybe it would be better to use the asus_laptop module.
My thinkpad uses thinkpad_acpi

It seems those errors are unrelated Interesting thing though to this. However I did notice something interesting, basically it's missing on proc but is there in sys. From what I understand the the proc method is disabled, however I would assume the acpi command would have been updated to use the new method as well.

the acpi command does use /sys, and yes, /proc/acpi/battery is deprecated. Now sure exactly what you are asking then.

I am trying to figure out why the acpi command is not returning any results.
