Random Font Spacing In Terminal Applications

I use roxterm, but have tried gnome terminal and a couple of others, all non-monospace fonts have random spacing. The "i" will overlap the previous character, the "t" will leave a large gap... It's seemingly with each different character.

Re: Random Font Spacing In Terminal Applications

did you mean to say all non-monospace fonts have random character spacing, instead of "none monospace fonts"?  If so, why are you trying to use non-monospace fonts in the terminal?
