Unable to add printer

Recently I bought a Canon LBP6000 laser printer.

When installing, I followed the wiki of a very similar printer ( https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Canon_LBP2900 ).
When I'm at registering the printer:
#/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p LBP6000 -m /usr/share/cups/model/CNCUPSLBP6018CAPTK.ppd -v ccp://localhost:59787 -E
lpadmin: Unable to copy PPD file.

and that is where I'm stuck... I have no idea why it can't copy that file...

Just stumbled upon this same problem and in case anyone else has this same issue simply restart cups:

# systemctl restart cupsd
