I'd been hoping that the functionality of the HP Folio 13 ultrabook's function keys would improve over time (the wireless and brightness adjusting keys don't work - the volume control and keyboard backlight keys do).
Unfortunately it seems as though the latest (I presume) kernel update to 3.6 has broken the volume up-down function keys.

If you are using gnome, this is a known bug that is fixed in 3.6 (gnome-unstable in [testing]). Some more details would be useful.

I have a same issue with ASUS K40IN, after updating to 3.6 volume keys stop working.

Ahhh - thanks for the heads up - I'll wait for GNOME 3.6 to hit
What sort of details did you have in mind?
