Forum Watch Modification

I have been asked by several devs and others about setting up a mail to forum gateway. As far as I know this IS very possible but I am not even going to attempt to implement it for some time. In the mean time would people be interested in a forum watch modification that allows you to watch specific boards for posts in the same way that you can watch topics?

The way I envision it most people can happily watch the announcements section on the boards and people with individual interests can watch the AUR discussion board or the CD//FTP install support board. It'd be pretty handy for the forum team for watching to moderator forum too I guess.

If you would like to see this mod implemented please vote in the poll. The mod requires some quite extensive changes and if people are not interested then I just won't bother

I have a minimum number of votes in mind and the decision will be at my discretion, well, unless Judd vetos it It is a 7 day poll

There already is one implemented in the new forums...if people actually bothered to sign-up for the new forum and check it out then they would already know that

/me would love that feature for when i go away. Would make it easier to keep myself informed and eaiser to monitor the other architectures board

I voted yes, as I would use this in cases when I am very busy. However, I suggest you take this as a 0.5 vote, because I doubt I'd use it regularly enough to make it worth your while.

I recently realized that the new RSS mod provides a much better way of watching the forums than the forum watch mod.

I strongly encourage everyone to use it.

Here are some I made earlier. They don't get parsed well by phpbb so I have enclosed them in code brackets
