I managed to install quemu-kvm with spice support from the AUR. I had no problem setting vga to qxl and to get it working in the guest(windows).
When I tried to change the display option in virt-manager from VNC to SPICE I get the following error:
"no module named spiceclientgtk"
Any help will be appreciated.

did you install spice-gtk, virt-viewer and virt-manager?

I'm missing spice-gtk from these. Can you point me to the exact package?
spice-gtk 0.12-4, spice-gtk-fedora 0.4-1 or spice-gtk3 0.13-1 variants?
Looks like 0.12.-4 has some dependency on pulseaudio which I really don't wanna use.

That depends on what your OS version and the dependent software packages you installed。

I'm not really sure exactly what you mean by this.
I'm using up to date x86_64 Arch system with KDE. I don't know what exactly to add to this.
The package names I mentioned above are ones I found in AUR.
I'm going to research whether only installing pulseaudio package will make the kde system use it by default in the meantime, in case I need to install it.
EDIT:
Just want to make sure this thread is end appropriately. Basically I just installed spice-gtk from AUR and everything worked as expected.
I have to deal with pusleaudio now though.
