Deluge not downloading

Well I have a problem with Deluge. Every time I add a new torrent it just won't download. I can see the list of peers but it does not download anything. I'm still uploading old torrents so it's not a connectivity thing. If I download the same torrent with transmission it works fine so the torrents are not dead either.

Any idea of how to solve this?

Re: Deluge not downloading

Do you have deluge and transmission set to use the same port? And are they both trying to download the files into directories writable by a regular user?

Great things come in tar.xz packages.

Re: Deluge not downloading

So it's an upstream issue. The problem seems to be with magnet links, one work around is to use http://magnet2torrent.me/ to generate a .torrent file from a magnet link

Re: Deluge not downloading

The solution is to downgrade the libtorrent-rasterbar package:

# pacman -U http://arm.konnichi.com/extra/os/i686/libtorrent-rasterbar-1:0.16.3-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
# pacman -U http://arm.konnichi.com/extra/os/x86_64/libtorrent-rasterbar-1:0.16.3-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Re: Deluge not downloading

Thank you that did the job, and a side note if any of you see that deluge is not working, 90% of the times you have to downgrade that package to a previous version.

Re: Deluge not downloading

Version 0.16.5-1 came out, but it didn't fix it. Fricken magnets... How do they work?

Going back to 0.16.3-1, for now.

Re: Deluge not downloading

I've just add a torrent that I downloaded before to seed. But Deluge don't check the data, it started to download from begining.
Now, deluge has many bug, considering a move to qBittorrent.

It downloads to the home directory by default. That's why it doesn't check your data. And it's not only limited to Deluge; so does FreeDC++ or EiskaltDC++. See here for a (temporary) workaround: http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop … =7&t=40751

I think it's related to the glibc migration, because it started around the middle of July. What pisses me off is that it still hasn't been fixed!
