Going crazy with lightdm

Hi guys,

I get a fresh installation of arch yesterday and today i'm going to install lightdm and the de (mate is my choose).
Lightdm with stock gtk horrible theme works without problems. Now if i use "startx" mate is ready and works well.

I installed this greeting: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php? … mments=all
But now if i try to start lightdm i get a black screen.

I found the instructions of manteiner and as comments:

"Uncomment #greeter-session=unity-greeter"
"Uncomment #session-wrapper=lightdm-session"

Now, lightdm works but i can't choose the session where to log and have only my user (black) and guest (that don't work obviously).
When i try to log i get a loop. Every time that i log, i return to the same login screen.
And when in console i try to "startx" i go on login screen of lightdm.

Anyone  help me to make every things working?

you NEED install lightdm-gtk-greeter, secconf enable in systemctl enable lightdm
tree if you not want see dumy users like git daemon install accountsservice

@Jristz: thanks man, but it doesn't work. Now i have fixed by switching to lxdm. Works great.
