Hi, I'm trying to move away from networkmanager and switch to connman, which is my only possible alternative as I need 3g USB mobile broadband support.
I'm trying to get it to work using the e17 frontend (is there anything else to try if I need 3g usb modem support?), where it should appear in the connection manager once ofono recognizes the 3G USB modem. Problem is the modem is not recognized by ofono, at least according to the e17 ofono frontend.
Basically there is no documentation and I am only an intermediate user. Does anyone know how to power up the modem with ofono so e17/connman can start using it?

Okay I have managed to get the modem working with ofono. It powers up and the technolgy appears in connman. All good.
But there is no service that appears in connman. In connmanctl I try to scan the cellular technology for services but it says unsupported.
I think this might have something to do with the context details like the APN for the mobile broadband service provider.
Anyone?
