Can't setup touchscreen on Toshiba Satellite R15

The wiki page is from roughly 2006 and I can't seem to find any conclusive info for an updated method of enabling and configuring the touchscreen for this laptop and I SINCERELY would like to use the tablet features.  If anyone could shed some light or offer some insight on what I can do to get this functional, I'd appreciate it.  I'm starting from ground zero at the moment, as I have found no solid reference to start with (yet).  Any and all help appreciated!
