dwm-pango bug?

dwm-pango (on the aur) doesn't seem to be closing cleanly.

I've tried debugging it and it seems that XCloseDisplay(dpy) (in main()) seems to be hanging but i can't figure out why.

The only thing i can think of is if a closedisplay hook in pango is stopping the function from ending but i dont see anything in the patch that would cause that.

Any thoughts?

Re: dwm-pango bug?

Its a pango bug: mostly it has affected openbox users. For the time being, downgrade pango.

Re: dwm-pango bug?

You can also use pango-patched from the AUR. It features a patch that fixes the deadlock.
