On a Thinkpad T430 / Intel HD4000 graphics, using UEFI boot / GRUB2 I get [drm:__gen6_gt_force_wake_mt_get] *ERROR FORCEWAKE* right after the boot process is finished and before login: is displayed -- that's when I added grub.efi to the list of efibootmgr entries.
If I use UEFI Shell (from USB installation medium) and launch grub.efi manually, I do not get the error above -- what could be the reason for the problem not manifesting when using UEFI shell?
Sorry if the wrong subforum, something tells me it might be kernel-related though.

On my Thinkpad X230 / Intel HD4000 graphics, using MBR boot / GRUB2
I get the same error. The problem was introduced in kernel 3.6
I have not gotten around to fixing the problem. However, I have not seen any problems other then the error. Basicaly, it is a problem that requires a kernel patch.
Here is a link to a problem like this from a long time ago
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/126911/
My plan is to just wait until kernel 3.7 and hope that it is fixed upstream.

The error message I get is [drm:__gen6_gt_force_wake_mt_get] *Error* Timed out waiting for forcewake old ack to clear.

Hey, this just made me realize that in 3.8 it is gone! (Thinkpad E430 / Intel HD4000)
