help installing The 2012.11.01 ISO image[SOLVED]

Hey anyone, after another update, half my stuff stopped working like mounting usb drives,, logging out of openbox, rebooting, etc. I tried to avoid this systemd because I knew I would be lost.
Well after reading all the systemd fixes, I was more lost so decided to do a fresh install.

downloaded the latest 2012.11.01 ISO image, burnt it and don't have a clue on how to install it.. The systemd wiki just seem to explain how to convert.. can anyone help me with this?

The latest iso is easy to install. Just follow the official guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_Guide

Edit: And the systemd wiki only explains convertion, because if you install arch using the latest iso, you'll have systemd installed by default wink

make sure you learn to systemctl start xxxx.service, systemctl enable xxxx.service, etc!

"open source is about choice"
No.
Open source is about opening the source code complying with this conditions, period. The ability to choose among several packages is just a nice side effect.

thanx chris_l. it worked. you're right about the systemctl. Wow, why so hard and stressful? still having fun learning but killing my music production time.. all part of the journey I guess.. will mark this solved as I just needed it installed. I'm just curious to see ArchBang take on this as they're in testing systemd now.. wanna see if they come up with an easier install...
