Touchpad (Clickpad) can't be turned off after suspend

Hi. I have Lenovo Z580 notebook with clickpad. After I suspend my notebook with closing it, I can't disable my touchpad. I have to reboot my laptop. Key combination for turning it off is Fn + F6.

Re: Touchpad (Clickpad) can't be turned off after suspend

Maybe you need to unload and then reload the special lenovo acpi module.  I assume that if this key combo works without you having to have set it up, it is being controlled by such a module. For instance, my Thinkpad has the thinkpad_acpi module, and it controlls my brightness keys, camera toggle, wireless, etc.

After you suspend and its borked, try simply unloading whatever that module is and then reloading it and see if funtionality returns.

The keycombo is already set for you, yeah?  You didn't have to determine what the keycode was and assign a command to it through your window manager or anything like that?
