Unichrome drivers precompiled for your pleasure

If anyone using VIA's KM400 chipset or similar want to try out the
unichrome drivers, I have compiled them for use with xorg from testing
repository.

Just send me a message or something if you want to try.
I'm using them right now, and mplayer works great using
xv video plugin.

Did you make PKGBUILDS for that. If so, it would be great if you send that to AUR.

Anyway, if you don't have the PKGBUILDS, could you send me the binaries? (eduol@gmx.net) I was wishing that for a long time!

Re: Unichrome drivers precompiled for your pleasure

I don't have PKGBUILDS I'm afraid, but I can put out  the binaries somewhere.

I'm on vacation until friday, so I'll put them up on a server with instructions this weekend.

As I said, they are compiled against xorg from testing, so you'll probably need to upgrade your system against this repository.

A bit later than expected, but anyways...

http://www.sleepwinder.com/viadriver/instructions.txt
http://www.sleepwinder.com/viadriver/libviaXvMC.so.1.0

Read the file instructions.txt on how/where to copy the files.

You also need unichrome_dri.so in ./usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri, unless I have got something horribly wrong.

Edit: Yep, this will not work. You need the other stuff too.
