[Solved]How to deal with apps running /etc/rc.conf and /etc/rc.d/fu...

Hi All,

I installed a new machine using the 2012-11-01 Arch iso. Is it because of me or because of that's how it works that there are no /etc/rc.conf and /etc/rc.d/functions files? If that's how it works, then how do we deal with applications that execute

. /etc/rc.conf
. /etc/rc.d/functions

in their start/stop scripts in /etc/rc.d? I saw at least privoxy and apache executing those commands.

If it's me doing something wrong, then how can I fix it?

Regards.

Edit: really sorry to bother those who spent some time to answer my question. I just read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Systemd and understood that /etc/rc.d/some_service start/stop/restart is now systemctl start/stop/restart some_service.service. If I'm still wrong, please let me know.

Thanks.
