Call to Arms: Improving the installer

Seeing as the installer post in the announcements forum has been revived with issues, I'm going to try something that may or may not fail:

I say anyone with the skills and/or time make changes to the installer script and keep track of patches and whatnot here.  The devs seem to have alot on their hands, and in the spirit of open source, I say we help them out.  Assuming I'm not too busy (as I have been lately), I will attempt to do the same.

You should be able to grab the original script from the iso.  If you make any changes, please provide a patch (not the whole thing).

Thanks

CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.archlinux.org:/home/cvs-arch

further instructions: http://www.archlinux.org/cvs.php

That one's not accessible via cvsweb.

The suggestion box only accepts patches.
