Udiskie without X

Hi archers,

how can I automatically start Udiskie without launch X (so no in .xinitrc)?

I've already tried with Crontab but I think the problem isn't "where" but "how".
If I directly run "udiskie" from Tty it works, but if I launch the same simple command from Crontab it doesn't work.

I've obviously made some searches and don't found anything interesting, but sincerly I don't even know which words I'd use for the search.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Udiskie without X

I've learnt something new.
I try and let you know.
Thanks.

Edit: I use Bash, so following your suggestion, I've tried tu run "udiskie" (in background and not) in .bash_profile and even in .bashrc but with no luck. Am I missing something?
Thanks.
