[SOLVED] Lenovo X60 -- No pressure sensitivity on touchscreen

Hi, I just installed arch on my X60 and after installing the xf86-input-wacom package I managed to get the stylus working. There's no pressure sensitivity, however, and it essentially just acts as a mouse. Both the tip and eraser side of the stylus work to move the cursor (only the tip left-clicks). I've tried a whole bunch of tricks to get pressure sensitivity working, right down to using this ancient xorg.conf but nothing has worked sad

If I check the pressure value with xinput it seems to just jump from 0 to 2048 (maximum) and very very rarely gets a value between those.

The questions I have, then, are:
- is there something wrong with my screen?
- do I need a Wacom stylus to get proper pressure sensitivity with the Wacom hardware?

Cheers

Edit: After buying an old Cintiq stylus pressure sensitivity works as expected. Marking solved.
