Python CGKit

http://cgkit.sourceforge.net/

I'd like to evaluate cgkit for 3D development. I don't have the time to build a package right now... was hoping somebody (xerces2, phrakture) might be board enough to create the PKGBUILD for me. Its probably pretty simple. I hope.

We've got to decide between soya, pyopengl, panda3d, pygame, and cgkit. At least we're using python for sure! ;-)

Re: Python CGKit

It doesn't build properly on my machine, quite a few CPP errors.

Re: Python CGKit

I got it to build:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cgkit/cgkit/PKGBUILD
Requires pyprotocols:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?K … yprotocols

I tested the simple viewer, seems to work, but not extensively tested.

You need to hack pyrex as described in the soya3D thread to get it to build:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … ght=soya3d
