totem-plugin cache location

i upgraded totem and totem-plugin sometime ago and i use this script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/87011. I noticed that the cache location of totem-plugin changed from /tmp to ./cache in my home folder, i tried searching for a way to change the location back to /tmp but could not find a way. the main reason is i usually watch high quality videos and they can be quite big, so instead of taking space even after rebooting i would prefer they get deleted.
is there any way to change the cache location back to /tmp?
