There's a new review of Arch Linux in LinuxUser magazine (found via Distrowatch):
http://www.linux-user.de/ausgabe/2005/1 … index.html
The problem for many of us? It's in German. Would one of our German-speaking netizens be willing to summarize the contents. I presume it's a positive look at Arch.

Sum:
Arch merged flexibility with a slim, coherent design. Beneath a smart package (pacman) and build (abs) system it is possible to use binaries without braking it into pieces. It is fast, smart and up to date. Installation and configuration is a bit of work, but it is worth all effords, stable and nothing but fun to use it.

configuration a bit of work! Ha!

Hey, nice translation. Does it only look very well for me as not-native-english-speaker, or is it as good as it looks? Does goggle language tools usually produce such a good result?

I was suprised by how well it trasnlated it too. Seems like a crap shoot with automatic translators. Sometimes it is fairly reasonable, sometimes the results are....hilarious.
