High power consumption on kernel 3.6.9-ARCH

I upgraded my T420 thinkpad to kernel 3.6.9-1-ARCH and today realized that the battery life is only around 2 hours (usually I get 6 with a 6-cell battery).  Is anyone else having problems with unusually high power consumption on this kernel?

My temporary solution was to downgraded the kernel to 3.6.8-1-ARCH.  I'll keep "IgnorePkg = linux linux-headers" until the next kernel is released and try it.

Actually I think this problem has existed for the last several kernel minor releases.
